Why the name mc²?
Its unique name is based on the traditional Bordeaux blend.
merlot + cabernet sauvignon + cabernet franc = mc²
Merlot brings softness and fruitness, Cabernet Sauvignon provides structure and tannin and Cabernet Franc adds delicate spiceness of cloves and thyme.
Why does it work so well with food?
Each variety provides an essential element in making the wine food friendly. It's a magical combination; a blend that adapts to suit a myriad of foods because no one variety dominates.
The wine style
